Description
An activity plan which includes a number of play-based activities to aid children’s understanding of comparing and sorting common 2-D and 3-D shapes and everyday objects.
National Curriculum Links:
- Pupils identify, compare and sort shapes on the basis of their properties and use vocabulary precisely, such as sides, edges, vertices and faces.
Each activity plan includes: a number of activities with clear links to the national curriculum, a range of extra challenges to extend learning further, a list of resources needed to complete the activities, and example photographs of how activities can be set up.
